2026 Aged Care Expo on next week
This is an important reminder that Rushworth’s 2026 Aged Care Services Expo will be held at the Rushworth Shire Hall on Thursday, 8 October 2026. Running between 10am and 1pm, the event is being organised jointly by Rushworth Community House, Goulburn Valley Health and Campaspe Shire.
The event will highlight the many products, services and activities that are available for use by older people in the Waranga area.
Representatives from multiple aged-care organisations will be on hand to answer questions and provide guidance material to potential beneficiaries and to members of their families.
As we noted in an earlier article about the Aged Care Expo, people who are approaching their latter years can also use the event to help them prepare for a happy, fruitful retirement using the many services and facilities now available to them.
Members of their families can also learn a lot about the world that their loved-ones will be entering during their retirement, allowing for valuable knowledge-based discussions using guidance learned at the Expo.
This is an important annual event and we encourage older community members and their families to come along and find out what’s on offer.
Transport to and from the Expo can be arranged for Rushworth residents who do not have their own car or a mobility scooter. Please call the House on 5856 1295 before 8 October to arrange their transport.
