Plenty of action at the site of the new hospital/hostel
The building is now ready for the roof to go on with the framing completed on the new Waranga Hospital and Hostel in High Street Rushworth.
Hydraulic plumbing roughing-in is continuing, with the installaton of windows the next part of the build, with masonry and cladding to follow.
Asbestos removal has been necessary which is often the case in older buildings.
There is still more of this to be done in the next few weeks which is being carried out by an authorised asbestos removal contractor and hygeniest.
The building contractors are pleased with the progress of the redevelopment and have said they expect the project to be completed in the predicted time frame.
